J and I welcomed in the autumnal equinox with a quick hike and scramble up Ross Peak, arguably our favorite Bridger high point.
At just over 9000′, Ross is the 4th highest in the Bridgers and the oddball of the group due to its craggy prominence and solidarity. The weather was impeccable, with temps in the 80’s and bluebird skies. A gorgeous way to start the fall.
My sincerest apologies to all who have been following my exploits…the blog is temporarily back! Caveat emptor! No promises regarding the duration; as you know life gets in the way – for better and/or for worse. SprWinter seems to have dispersed here in Montanada and the hills have recently relinquished ‘normal’ hiking accessibility.
